MuyilMuyil archaeological area is a hidden within the Reserve Sian Ka’an, Muyil is a particularly attractive site for interested to know and admire the plant and animal environment of the central area of the peninsula, as it stands as a Muyil the environmentally nest preserved sites of Quintana Roo.

El Castillo (The Castle), at  17m (56 ft.) the tallest ancient building on the coast, had an alter atop in western steps, at which explores discovered offerings of jadeite and shell, plus breads, lip rings, ear flares, plaques and pendants. Muyil sits right along the highway, 22 km (14 mi.) south Tulum and 12km (7mi.) in from the sea.
